Join us on Zoom for our January meeting! Heather will present a training on How to Stand with Our Immigrant Neighbors. Leviticus 19:34 says, "The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself…" and Proverbs 31:9 says, "Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

In this training, we'll learn about our rights as residents of this country and how to exercise them during immigration enforcement activities; we'll learn how to be effective bystanders and allies in a way that honors Jesus; and we'll learn about ways to get involved more tangibly in accompaniment and rapid response programs in our community.
