The "Never Again Is Now" mural on the campus of Bellevue College depicts two Japanese American children as they were taken to an incarceration camp in California. The mural was first brought to Bellevue College in 2020 for the national Day of Remembrance marking the signing of Executive Order 9066 which authorized the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II.

Originally intended to be a temporary exhibit, the mural was recently rededicated as a permanent art installation on the Bellevue College campus. You can read more about the dedication in this Seattle Times article.
